Bio
I'm Joey Burton, an NBA Player Development Coach, specializing in shooting development and offensive strategies. With a track record of working with over 20 NBA players, I currently serve as a full-time player development coach for Georges Niang, Ed Sumner, and Trey Lyles.
My passion lies in enhancing all aspects of players' games, with a particular focus on elevating shooting precision. I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2004, and since 2013, I've owned Joey Burton Basketball, working one-on-one with professional athletes.
Prior to that, I gained valuable coaching experience at various levels, including roles as an assistant varsity coach at Park Tudor High School, Director of Operations for Mississippi State Women's Basketball, and assistant varsity coaching positions at St. Joseph High School and Proviso West High School. If you're looking to refine your basketball skills and take your game to the next level, I'm here to help you succeed on the court.
